Hok Yau Club — Hong Kong Secondary School Students’ Top Ten News Election (Interview)

Organised by Hok Yau Club, the “Hong Kong Secondary School Students’ Top Ten News Election” has been warmly supported by teachers, students and the wider community since 1992. Through voting, news-commentary contests and a series of activities on society, national affairs and the media, it encourages secondary students to follow Hong Kong and world affairs — and, importantly, to deepen their concern for national affairs. It also lets students take part in a territory-wide vote, raising their civic participation and sense of social responsibility, and contributing to the development of civil society.
